About Me

I was born in California but grew up in Zimbabwe, then ended up in Seattle where I graduated from high school and went to college. I met and married a Tennessee boy who came to the U of W via a post-doctoral Fellowship from UCLA. Now we split our time between Tucson, Arizona and Seattle, Washington.

Amazing how life's journey weaves a tapestry of our friendships and our lives! I do watercolor painting and volunteer with the American Red Cross. I am also on the Board of Hippo Valley Christian Mission which oversees among other projects, the mission where I grew up in Zimbabwe. It feels like coming home and is one of my great joys to be able to love on the Shona people who live there. Life is a journey and in the end, we are all just walking each other home!

We have four little dachshunds who give us hours of love and entertainment! We love our friends and family and we try to be responsible and give back out of the blessings God has given to us!
